I’ve been a keen theatregoer since I was a teenager and if you would ask me to name the grand total of all shows I have attended in my life my answer would be: More than 1.000 for sure (musicals and plays, including repeat visits). For the last couple of years London has been my focus for everything theatre. One day I was asked by a friend who also happens to be a performer in the West End why I wasn’t running a blog to tell people about my views on shows and maybe help them decide what shows are worth watching. My first reaction was: Why would anyone want to hear my ramblings about shows I’ve seen? But once I gave the whole thing a second thought it started to sound appealing. I have always loved writing. And to combine writing with my number one passion seemed worth a try.
So here I am now offering my views on musicals and plays and general theatre related topics. Hopefully you find this blog interesting and enjoy reading it. Please do get involved by commenting on posts and sharing your thoughts. Follow the blog to stay up to date (and to make me feel there are people out there who are actually waiting for me to write more ;-)).
And please remember:
All reviews express nothing but my personal opinion. Please don’t be offended if I don’t like your favourite actor’s performance or if I don’t enjoy your favourite show. It’s all just a matter of personal taste in the end.
And whilst I will pass on theatre news and the occasional gossip I will NEVER post anything I’ve been told confidentially.
